Will a switch make my ethernet speed slower if i connect let say 3~4 pc into it for gaming?

Elezen

Well i'm going to install a switch for my "gaming room" and going to connect like 3 pc for now maybe 4 later on and was wondering if its for gaming will that switch make the connection any slower? Is a set-up of a ethernet switch like a router? just plug it in and play or do i need to play arround to make it work?
PS: I bought this one TP-Link TL-SG1005D 10/100/1000Mbps Port Gigabit Desktop Switch, 10Gbps Capacity, Plug and Play, Up to 70% Power Saving and my ISP speed is 130mb/s

Probably not. I have a switch and I currently get 80 down/90 up, and I pay for 75/75. So dont worry about it

Nope.

Just make sure that the port your connected to on your modem or router is enable to 10/100/100 Gbe.
