PC Upgrade?

paulo7702

I have a terrible PC at the moment and was looking to build a new one, but unfortunately, I just have 500 dollars to upgrade. Can I have suggestions? I do not need any peripherals, just main components.

 Here is the parts list

Thanks for pointing it out, was My mistake on the motherboard, thought I hit add on 350, so hard on a phone browser. As for the ssd, it gets the job done and was trying to stay below OPs budget as much as possible. Redid the list taking things you pointed out in to account.

With the current budget, it's hard too add a decent case and still stay within budget without cutting back on something else. Cutting back on something means lost performance and changing case won't add performance. Luckily the new wraith spire that comes with the R5 1600 should give you similar performance to the H212; plus not sure if older H212 are even compatible with Ryzen without a new bracket.

Mobo has no vrm heatsinks, wouldn't really recommend when something like a b350m pro4 is only $4 more.

Yes but that's with a $20 mail in rebate so it's actually over OPs budget. But just saw the Tomahawk is on sale and fits within the budget. Thanks for the advice about the vrm heatsinks.
