I'm planning my first X299 build

 

I have picked all the parts ill need

but I don't have a case yet

I was looking at the Phanteks p400 and the p400s I cant say which one is better

And ill accept any other case recommendations

I want a case that can fit Aorus GTX 1080 ti and the kraken x62 with radiator mounted on the front

S is the "silent" case. It has a fan controller and sound dampening on the panels.

I'd go for it.

you might be better of with a ryzen cpu if you want a platform that will last (confirmed until 2020)

dont mount rad as an intake. I have an oc'D i5 4690k wiith the x61 and aorus gtx 1080 ti and even on fullspeed once hte case is warm the gpu wont go below 78°C. CPU intake cooler will just let the otehr components choke

 

(case is nzxt x340 for me) also the stock fans are garbage, get at least an aftermarket 140mm airflow fan for the top mount
