Can’t change Floatplane subscription to yearly

hey guys this is austin, if you want to know how to fix floatplane, ask the developers who made it, not random people online who have no idea the behind scences of floatplane club

If you cancel the monthly sub, you will be able to subscribe to the yearly sub once it expires (the expiration will happen about 6 days after the payment would have been due, to avoid some PayPal issues). Unfortunately there's no more elegant solution at the moment.

The problem described in that topic was that even once you had cancelled, you were unable to resubscribe, but that issue has now been resolved.
