While the cryptocurrency craze seems to be dying down, GPU prices are still inflated.  I'm not sure that there is a sustainable market there.  If so, then GPU manufacturers may not be able to realistically increase output when these cryptocurrency spikes happen.

I made bank selling 580's off in this market, i made more money selling the gpu's then they'll make mining with them lol

I mine, no reason not to casually when its profitable (Not losing anything on hardware I already own). Mining wont really be a problem for the industry so long as supply problems stay short term like they have, if they continue for too long could reduce the adoption of a manufacturer's (AMD) GPUs among gamers making them less likely to buy them later. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

I sold my $189.99 RX 480 for $350. I was able to purchase a new keyboard and a debatably better graphics card while not spending a dime extra on my electricity bill.
