I would go on Tech Quickie as a first resource. They provide crash course like videos on many technical topics about computers.

The easiest way is to just watch LTT and Techquickie. I personally started by watching computer build logs and how to make my own computer LTT has got plenty of those so try that, after you could jus watch the tons of gpu and cpu reviews so you have an idea of the range of products there, the wan show is also great at first it might be tough to understand but with time it will all come to place. You will learn a lot more watching that you would from books or courses I assure you that.

Wikipedia has a plethora of articles you could gloss over.

I would just recommend watching tech quickie because their channel is full of informative videos listing all of the things that you need to know about computers. I myself started watching tech quickie until I had discovered Linus tech tips, thats when I had got interested into tech related stuff.

Professor Messer is another good one.  Though, his videos are aimed more at passing IT Certification Exams like the A+, Net +, Sec +, etc.

Like others have said, start putting search terms into YouTube and Google.  You can find some good channels with some hunting around.

Books about technology get outdated so fast it's not even funny.

Have you tried googling these very same questions?

i've learned a few things from forums, videos, friends/family and so on. just ask or look around is my best option. go at your own pace, as rushing it just boggles your mind up.

Hue hue hue.
