Billy_Mays

Ive been waiting a good 20 minutes for "Just a moment" to go by after I clicked on the region I selected would it be smart to restart my PC or no because I want to get everything started to reinstall ASAP since I had to wipe both of my drives because of old drivers causing BSODs

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

Depends if you're joining a domain with active directory user accounts and group policies that need to apply. Either way, the windows installation may also try to "check for updates" during initial installation if you have an active internet connection... and that can take quite a while. Just set it and forget it for a while to be safe.

Watch on your phone for now... or tablet, or laptop, or other PC... I doubt watching anything on youtube is actually necessary. Maybe go for a bike ride to the public library to catch up on your youtube. :D

some USB 3.0 chipsets are kinda finicky and don't seem to work well with MS default drivers. this is thre reason it is recommended to always install Windows on a USB 2.0 port if available.

You need 16GB of free drive space for 32 bit Windows and at least 20GB for 64 bit. These are minimum requirements so you're not going to have enough for future updates, applications, or files if you stick to minimums.
