Invest in an ASIC miner?

Hi guys. I'm fairly new to mining Bitcoin and I currently mine on my trashy personal rig. I only run it when we are getting solar and that yields about $1 per day. I'm looking for a more efficient solution (probably ASIC:)) that won't break the bank. size doesn't matter. Less heat output would be nice but since it's going in my garage it would barely make a difference. I already have a network switch.

could you explain where yuo mint bitcoins always wanted to try it but never really found any "good" link or tutorial

Oh god no, that is absolutely ancient. It would only be about $0.40 per day.

 

Here's a tip when it comes to Bitcoin (SHA256), Litecoin and similiar (Scrypt), and X11 coins. If the miner is already on the market and it isn't $2000+, it's typically way behind and barely profitable.

If the 300MH/S baikal miner is under 800 is most likely a scam since the original manufacter page sell it at 800,the most cheapper that i have encounter was like 400 for the 150MH/S (not a reliable price), but the cheaper more trusted price was 1200. I would like to have enought money now.

The price doesn't matter is if cheap while is cheap from the manufacter, always the reseller price should be higher, and also so a little research to know when the asic was realesed and compare the ratiopower consumption : hashrate to know if is good enought ot if the new one is the same that the last one but twice the power consumption and twice the hashrate (for example, for scrypt antminer l3 is 400W for 250MH/S and the antminer l3+ is 800W for 504MH/S acording to the manufacter. Also for x11 baikal cube mini 150MH/S was 40W and the 300MH/S is 80W).

PD: i think baikal cube is a good option since is for x11 and others, so, if x11 is not profitable you can see if other one is profitable (to know the coin to mine you can see whattomine.com)
