Best Bang For The Buck Monitor?

I'm looking for a 24'' monitor with a good/decent IPS panel for under 200euro's. It will be used for gaming and watching movies/TV. I'm buying in Belgium/Netherlands. So no Newegg, NCIX or Amazon please :P

Let the recommending commence!

Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM.

Not to undermine your recommendation, but let me quote myself, quoting @GoodBytes.

I'd get the Dell P2314H.

To quote @GoodBytes

P2414H / P2314H is better. The U2312HM will probably be discontinued

The P2414H has:

-> reduce back light bleeding issue to very low level (was a problem for the U2312HM, and well, for this priced monitor)

-> improved LG production system for this panel, meaning significantly lower production issues, which was a bit on the high side for the U2312HM

-> No PWM back light. Tis is good. PWM control the backlight illumination by flickering the back light LED's on and OFF at a fast rate depending on the brightness level, and not using an actually dimming circuit, which cost more. For some, PWM causes headaches or at least sense it.

-> a bit faster real life response time

-> super fast internal circuit, providing an impressive <2ms input lag. This beats nearly all TN panel, including gaming ones.

-> same warranty coverage, with the same 0 bright/stuck pixel warranty and 3 years length.

Just barely over your price limit, but totally worth it, the X-STAR DP2710LED:

I'm going to pick one of these up myself eventually.

I personally use ACER H236HLbmid. Nice IPS panel with very slim bezels. Got mine for around £130 each, but I think they might be hard to find now.
