Anyone here have experience using amazon Prime. I'm thinking about signing up for their 30 day prime trial and canceling right after, Do you think that they're charge me?

I think you can go into your account under manage prime membership, after signing up for the trial, and set it to not auto renew.

 

Either that or just cancel it like the day before the trial ends.

 

Either way you shouldn't be billed after the trial.

Amazon Prime is worth it, if you know you'll buy things fairly consistently, or use their subscribe and save feature for some essentials.

But as has been stated, you should be able to sign up and cancel the auto-renew to just have the trial.

I have been a prime member since the day it came out. I was actually in the beta because I have been a member since 2001. I also only have to pay $70/year. Anyways there are so many things you get it is stupid not to have it. They have everything, twitch loot, free photo storage, free 50gbs of storage, music streaming, free 2 day shipping, prime day, and the list goes on and on.

I did the 30 day trial, forgot to cancel, and noticed they charged me. I called right away and since I didn't make any purchases after my payment, they cancelled my membership and refunded me.

Protip: If you register for Prime as a student to get it for 50% off, Amazon doesn't bother to ask you later if you ever graduated or not.  I'll have paid off my student LOANS in a few months but Amazon still thinks I'm a student.  Maybe Amazon just thinks I'm doing like 7 years of med school or something...

Microsoft is the same way. My Windows 7 Professional key I got for free via MSDNAA (a week before it actually launched) is still functional.

Amazon Prime is so worth it. I use it to buy everything now, and the video streaming service is a just a bonus as far as I am concerned. Unless I need something immediately, I order it on Amazon and get it here in in a jiffy.

If you use Amazon often, then Prime is great, especially the fast delivery option with no extra payment.

I had the 30-day trial and it was great. Then you have to remember to deactivate it before the time runs out. Just to be sure. Then after a while they granted my another 30-day trial. It happened 3 times by now and I took advantage of it everytime. I would get it, if I were buying a lot of stuff via Amazon. But I don't so I only stuck to trials :)
