that's how it really works, i got my first job at 14 doing IT for a small store, got paid minimum wage, got paid in cash( for an ovious reasons), the thing is it will depend on the work, most entry level jobs don't really care, long as you know what you are doing or willing to learn.

A note about soccer refereeing is that you typically need to buy a uniform, and all the gear (whistle, flags etc..). I loaned the money from my mom and paid her back after my first paycheck. Another note is to not accept the gear for free, it'll earn you a little more respect and trust from your parents. That means you won't get as much money initially but what you gain is more longterm and valuable.

It looks like you are trying to make money appear without getting a job. You need to get creative. The best part is "mining GPUs" are just regular cards. Pay your friends to run it at night on theirs! 

 

Or you could go the hard route and ask your neighbors if they need anything. I painted numbers on house curbs as a kid. Made some very official looking leaflets and distributed thousands of them. Made around 4k at 15 years old on my summer break, busting it every single day, morning until night.

 

Seriously, be creative... If you're looking for easy money, especially without a job. Know this kid:
