Heh. I think this is exactly why MS set up the voice commands for Kinect 2 to be "Xbox [command]" instead of just saying it. The way the original Kinect reacted or didn't react to voice commands was rather amusing at times...When it wasn't utterly frustrating.

Why so much hate? Voice controlled entertainment (not necessarily xbox) is a great feature and may be the future. Obviously the kinect still needs some improving but as far as I know, its the best on the market at the moment. So even if you dislike the xbox, you should be for this feature to work well so that it can be incorporated into other products.

I was watching a review of the xbox one kinect and you can say 'stop listening' and it will stop listening to voice commands (until you say xbox again). This video is from 2012 so I'm not even sure if the xbox 360 kinect has that same issue anymore or not. I haven't used my kinect in well over a year and don't plan on plugging it in to test.
