My wifi is super ded on pc

Recently (Late May) my wifi just decided to die. I have tried literally everything to fix this. It says i'm connected but i'm not. I can't connect to steam or anything. God damn it.

Oh shit, just released that I have a bigger problem. I don't know if this is normal, but every value for default is not set.

Have you tried formatting your OS drive and reinstalling Windows? It's quite possible that your issues are due to driver problems, corrupted driver, corrupted Windows, etc.

Yep, I tried that and everything works! Except for the fact that all the storage I previously used has remained on my disc and that pisses me off big time.

When you say all your storage remains, what do you mean?

 

If you have a "Windows.old" folder that's huge, that main contain the contents of your old install. Generally, this folder will automatically delete itself after - I believe - 30 days.

 

You can delete the folder if you don't want to wait - it basically allows you to "roll back" to the previous installation, if something went wrong during the reinstall:

Keep in mind, everything I'm talking about is in reference to Windows 10.
