Hi 

I want to buy a GTX 1080 ti and I wanted to know that witch of these 2 is better: 

1) EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3

2) ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G-GAMING

They both perform around the same, it really doesn't matter which one you go for.

Definitely the EVGA FTW3! It's a better card and EVGA's customer support is top notch (Unlike ASUS -_-)

They'll perform the same, I think the strix is a bit cooler and quieter but the ftw3 has better temp monitoring and a better pcb.

But FPS is not everything!
Noise and lifespan are also pretty important - at least to me.

 

And that is why I would pick the EVGA card as its fans use 6 slot / 3 phase motors.

Performance will probably be about the same but I would go for EVGA because of their support

Yeah, but the FTW3 has a much better PCB and better power delivery, so I would definitely get a FTW3 instead of the ASUS STRIX, even though the latter may run a bit cooler :)

To be fair, the pcb and power delivery stuff won't actually matter since all the 1080 tis overclock about the same.

 

To me at least all the 1080 tis are fine as long as it's not reference. TBH I think just saving some money and getting an sc2 is the best option.

Cards have their very slight ups and downs, but EVGA has the better customer service. 

 

You're not just buying a product, you're also buying 3+ years of a companies time in support. And in that regard, there is a clear winner.

Asus has great warranty. I hear the cs is bad but I don't get faulty products or break them. Their pcb is way better as well. 

 

If I had to buy one again it would be the strix. All that fancy monitoring stuff is such bs anyway. No one ever cared about the temps of the rest of the components before, that hasn't changed.

As someone who has 3 EVGA Video Cards myself I actually totally agree, both cards are awesome but the Strix pulls the lead.
