Alternative to Utorrent?

UPDATE: I have tried downloading it on different torrents and it is still too slow. After reading all the replies I looked in to it and there are only a few seeders for it which is obviously why the download is so slow.

 

Firstly, I am sorry if i am not meant to post thing kind of stuff. If that is the case feel free to remove this.

I am trying to download a big file through Utorrent and normally I download 10MB every second but in utorrent im getting 200kb or less. Is there a way to make it faster or a better alternative?

q-bit torrent?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Yeah uTorrent contained a bitcoin miner so that's why I switched to deluge.

It depends on what you are torrenting ... you could be just torrentinng a inactive one. It doesn't really matter what client imo.

I am pretty sure that only certain versions anyways, as long as you don't see strange CPU usages while idling you should be fine.

Yeah but that already shows that they are not trustworthy. If a person kills somebody you could say "It was only once" but would you still trust him???

I've used Shareaza since XP days. It's great, it's got a search function so you don't need to find your torrents online. I use it all the time, can't stand the ads in uTorrent, or any of the other torrent programs.

 

It's open source too.

uTorrent is the best lol, you can disable ads on the free version and make it clean as a whistle, also it is pretty immune to the whole mining on idle thing nowadays.

 

Like stated above if your download speed is slow is because your torrent has little seeders.

You Should use Tixati. It is kind of ugly, but id does allow for some serious customization. it has a built-in Web UI, it is completely bloatware-free, no ads, and is multi-platform. Can be run in portable mode, and does have an integrated scheduler. can run custom scripts at beginning and end of download and has its own channel for finding torrents. I have been using it since the beginning and ill never change.

Well unless there can change previous version of their code plus it didn't have bit coiner miner built into the torrent client from what i believed but was bundle and most people just press next in an install.

I don't think so. It doesn't affect me, as my internet is likely the bottleneck with my torrent.
