Laptop turns off during playing CSGO

SammoFS

Hey all. I need some help with my laptop (Asus N61JQ) Usually I should be able to play CSGO fine on 40-60FPS, but now it runs from 20-62 fps and around 90-93% on battery (and plugged in), my pc just turns off. (and tbh It's pissing me off.) they are a different battery and charger since the old one started smelling like an electric fire. But even after i got these new things, csgo ran fine. now with any game (apart from some games like DEFCON: Everybody Dies) it usually just turns off my pc. Any help appreciated :D

Well there you go.

Get one of these laptop coolers for 20bucks and it'll probably not crash anymore.

I'm already saving up for a new pc. 250+ (AUD) saved and my birthday is coming up. (Plus I do chores and my brother has to pay me back so I'll probably be getting my pc real soon)

Do you plan on getting a laptop or a desktop? If it's a desktop then I would suggest that you replace the thermal paste in your laptop. You may need a portable computer in the future that does not have overheating problems and thermal paste is not that expensive (at least not where I live). Of course, it is totally up to you if you will want to use your current laptop or not after you buy a new PC. If you are planning to get a laptop I guess you can deal with this problem for a bit more.
