Motherboard Loading Screen Froze

Did you try updating the BIOS via USB first?

Hello LTT,

I am in need of your help.

I started upgrading my PC over my existing one but when I boot it up. The motherboard loading screen splash or circle just froze.

My current PC specs:

AMD Ryzen 1700 @ stock speed

AMD Wraith Cooler (seems like my damn case doesn't work with my Corsair H100i v2 RIP)

ASUS Prime B350-Plus

G.Skill 16GB (8GB x2) 3000 MHz RAM (I know it isn't running 3000 MHz ATM)

WD 1TB m.2 SSD

WD 1TB HDD

WD 2TB HDD

GTX 670

Creative Sound Blaster Z

Corsair HX 750W

CM Storm Enforcer

and an optical drive

I download the W10 OS to my PNY 128GB Flash Drive and hoping to boot it from there although it did work for slightly bit until it the loading screen froze just like the motherboard.

What I have tried.

Wait for 5-7 minutes to see if anything changed.

Cycle the boot by holding the power button until the power kill itself then wait for 10-20 seconds and reboot it.

Reset the CMOS battery

Change my RAM slot

Tighten every plugs

Unplug all of the USB cables then boot up my computer and replug it.

Nothing seemed to work and I don't know what is wrong with it.

Hmm, no, I didn't. I thought I was supposed to get the OS up and running first.

I will be sure to try it out and see if it would work.

By the way, should I also install the other MoBo Drivers like Chipset, LAN, Audio, Utlities, etc., after I am done and got the OS up and running?

Absolutely.  Always install the drivers specific to your OS and hardware.  Leave them generic only if you have to.

Thank you! You are a life saver.

I did update my Bios that was on my flash drive and everything worked smoothly.

Man, the back pain when I have to build my PC for 4-5 hours and had to deal with the loading circle froze.
