The east also shreds the west in warbler species haha, thats one thing I bet western birders wish they had haha. They have more Golden Eagles and also aquatic American Dippers and more dark morph hawks though among others, so they got some good stir fry too lol.

I don't necessarily take pictures of them but I bird watch with the cat lol. Have you ever gotten a picture of a Catbird, there is a pair hanging around my house so I get to hear some of the interesting noises they make.

Gray Catbirds dominate around my area lol. They make a variety of noises.

I've actually only seen one, once, in the jungle close to the Gulf. Fortunately I also saw this

Sure birds are pretty cool.

 

When the red lamp and the fact that chicks don't have very distinct coloring telling what variety of the species it is is quite hard. But these are black sex links. Back in 2014 when I was curious about maybe getting into poultry.

Blue-gray Tanager I'm pretty sure. They used to consider ours real tanagers but they changed that, but the name is kept haha.

I would have been near 100% sure but I wasn't sure if there were other similar species haha. How many birds in Baja California are not in America? When I look at some ebird reports of a Xantus's Hummingbird I mostly find birds that live in America too, although there was a Gray Thrasher too and a Belding's Yellowthroat and another I think. Oh yeah, Yellow-footed Gull.

Never been my thing, but I see others that walk the parks with binoculars and large lens camera's. Plus I knew a guy who was kind of strange and a bit younger then me, say 30 to 35 who was into birds and photography. I couldnt quite understand him, he didnt stick out strange, you had to talk with him for a bit to see he was pecular.
