BEST GPU COOLER EVER?

Kiwi_Skov

hello guys, i am looking for an gpu cooler that are better then the stock cooler gpus comes with, the reason is that i have a near silent pc and i want to get lower temps. so i can get a bigger fan on it and run it with lower rpms.

Stock GPU meaning reference/founders design? Obviously Custom cards will perform better, but no point in buying a new card for that. Your only really other option would be to by a AIO bracket for your card (Kraken G10), although there still would be some pump noise (Probably quieter though).

Will still likely be quieter, and you dont have any other options here (Unless you plan to ghetto mount a CPU cooler).

what? you mount a 212 onto an AMD graphics card?

Why would that produce any less noise than the original cooler on the card lol?

A 212 Evo should be plenty. You probably didn't mount it properly.

What gpu? Here's an example of a 212 Evo having no issue keeping a 280x's temps low:

If you're referring to the 970 listed on your profile, you probably didn't mount it well. It's less power hungry than the 280x and is easier to cool.

If your card is overheating, the cooler isn't as well mounted. Having the cooler evenly mounted is important.
