Good Places To Sell Pc Parts

EnderCat

Ok so I got a gaming computer with 32gb of ram but not a great graphics card or any wifi card so I am going to sell 16gb of it, my question is where is a good place to sell these stuff? I dont have a post office near by and I dont have a car so unless I can send ram through a outgoing mail slot I need to sell it locally

Well, you could go get a postal label from the internet. At least in Canada that is how it works. (https://www.canadapost.ca/tools/Cst/) You print the label out, put it on the the package and put it in the outgoing mail box.

well I will look into that but even if it works do you suggest just sticking ram into a envelop taping a label on it and pray it doesnt get damaged? I mean the contact points (gold bits) are exposed, someone might bend it or something during shipping and Idk shipping would even cost

No, it isn't. You need an anti-static bag and bubble-wrap.

ALL THE BUBBLE-WRAP! lol

A decent amount anyway.  A nice small cardboard box would also be nice if possible.

My success is as follows from fastest/least troublesome from top to bottom.

Craigslist (Don't be an idiot here CASH on pickup/delivery and you have have something expensive bring a friend.)

Ebay (You NEED to know what you are doing here or you'll get eaten alive.)

LTT/other forums (hit or miss honestly, build reputation from other reputable people i guess...sold like 8 things like this and 0 have helped out my heatware though.)

The Vinyl Decal guy.

Lol, no. Pick a store that sells office supplies (Walmart, Best Buy, the Post Office :/) . Get a padded envelope. Wrap the RAM in some plastic wrap. Put in a small plastic baggie. Get as much air out of the bag as you can. Put two pieces of cardboard (1 on each side) of the RAM. Tape it on to give the RAM less chance of being bent, snapped, damaged in general). Put in wrapped RAM in baggie protected by cardboard in padded envelope. Scrunch up a few pieces of newspaper/tissue paper. Put in padded envelope you picked up from the store, attach label, write Fragile Handle With Care on the envelope. Make sure to figure shipping into your cost. If it costs 2$ to ship, add that to the cost. ei. $XX.XX + shipping. Make sure to write 16 Gigabytes ddr3/ddr4 (whatever type it is) 1x16 stick, or 2x8 stick kit in the add along with the RAM's top rated speed. Send it on it's way.

In the future, it is good to save boxes of things you may resell, along with some of the shipping materials. Makes safe shipping much easier.

is it same to put ram in a plastic bag? kinda seems like you are putting MORE chance of damage by static

I would recommend anti-static bag.
