Which Chart Is Better For Comparing Rappers?

VirusStorm

I really can't decide between rappers on my G.O.A.T. list

Recently I've been using this chart to compare rappers:

Flow:
Lyrics:
Storytelling:
Technical Ability:
Discography:
Creativity:
Delivery:
Influence:
Versatility:

However, I'm wondering if this chart would be better:

Flow:
Lyrics:
Storytelling:
Technical Ability:
Discography:

Which is better, number 1 or number 2?

I compare old rappers, not a lot of new ones

The only new ones I compare are Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, J. Cole, Logic and a few more

Understandable but the most modern rap to me that was any good was the g-funk era of gangsta rap from the late 80s and into the 90s. After that they all have become the same song and nothing more.

When rap was at its best it actually flowed and actually told a story.

Chart 1 is the more in depth chart. The other leaves things to vague.

Well, musical taste is very subjective, so you should probably use the chart you like the best. Non of us can answer this for you.

For all I know you find Vanilla Ice to be the best rapper of all time.

Although, I would argue that a chart is a very arbitrary way to list musicians and/or singers.

For example, what if an artist have made one masterpiece of an album, but the rest of their discography is complete shit?

Or what if a new artist is incredible, but only has one album?

Or take an artist like Danny Brown as an example

I have argued that his flow, voice and lyrics are some of the best and most unique in the game right now.

Other people think he sounds like a chihuahua rapping about nothing of substance.
