How much are you paying for your internet

It's not that kind of throttling. I only get about 150Mbps, but they have created a fastpath for speedtest.net.

VPNs are not magic.

What do you mean a fastpath for speedtest.net. I'm assuming that the speeds are lying?

About ~US$60 when converted for 1Gbit up/down max (in the average it is ~500Mbps)

Well it's actually a fast lane

It's basically where they speed up a specific route (eg. speedtest.net) to make it LOOK like you have the speeds you pay for, when in reality they limit your speeds to a lot less.

Do you know any trusted site like speedtest that it isn't lying?

$120 for unlimited 100 down, 40 up via NBN FTTP

What provider are you with? I've got Telstra NBN which is horrible. Paying $100 for 100mbps down and 40mbps up, yet in off-peak times, I'm getting 20-90mbps down and 30-40mbps up, and Telstra cable, (which I had before) was faster at 115mbps. :(

  • 1 month later...

£60 a month for 100 Down and 6 Up. With TV(150 channels ish) and phone line. Included in the price. Because apparently it works out cheaper just to take the phone line over here in the UK.
