Make my current list for a build better!

I've seen benchmarks for the EVGA GTX 970 FTW that my friend is selling me and it is able to handle games like the division at 1080p at 60+ FPS, and my monitor's max resolution is 1080p so I think I should be fine.

You'll be just fine with the 970. And for $100, that's an absolute steal. You couldn't buy a decent monitor for that kind of money.

@N1ghtshade

Yes but...

1. He has already said he wants his friend's 970 for $100 which will easily smash the kind of games he wants to play. Hard to argue for other gpus at that price point.

2. Ryzen gains ~10% average fps when RAM is above 3000MHz. Even more gains on the minimum fps.

3. Ryzen memory support is fickle at the moment you should definitely check that the RAM you are recommending is compatible.

4. No SSD (Hybrids suck sorry).

5. NEX is a very bad psu.

1. Whoops left the 480 in there (I made that one by editing a friend's ryzen build)

2. Ryzen candle even handle 3k mhz RAM rn...

3. Already did

4. Hybrids are actually pretty good if you dont wanna spend money on an ssd and an hdd

The one with this keyboard connected.

Is Running.

3000 RN.

And i also linked a top 10 list where no one in the top 10 is running below 3200. Also does anyone know how to message Linus? I need to tell him his ryzen system isnt running the speeds either:

On topic: RAM still on the slow side which is strange when you are under budget. Bronze lower wattage psu? He has the budget available for a quality one like the EVGA 650W G3. Cheaping out on the component that powers the entire machine is never wise.

There is such a thing as bios updates?

Are you a retard? I'm using a ryzen PC at the speed you claimed impossible, so are people on the leader boards I linked and so is Linus in his latest video (I edited my previous post with a frame from the video). How did I achieve this speed? Well I selected the D.O.C.P and it just applied the settings like XMP. You are either a troll or just slow, i'm literally showering you with evidence to back up and my claim AND having this conversation on a PC defying what you said possible. Brb i'm gonna explain this to my cat, looks like he will understand before you do.

No no no don't change your tune now.. i'm aware you will have trouble with 4 sticks but:

1. No one has been recommending OP get 4 sticks.

2. You denied it was possible AT ALL.

So don't come at me with /thread bull crap and changing your argument at the last minute xD

The correct response after the 1st post should have been: "oh you are running those speeds? Guess memory speeds improved. Thanks :)"
