my guess: the windows one uses more system libraries that are expected to be there, the linux one has all of that in the box.

my guess is that the Win one is compressed and uncompressed will take as much

Just ran it on my PC. I get a maximum of 30FPS on 1080p extreme settings... Dayum...

To get slightly higher scores get the Windows 10 creators update all of you are running build 14393 and I'm running 15063 and have game mode enabled so that is why I've got the highest 1070 score that the moment.

- Not on my heavy OC settings

- GPU was above 65*C so it couldn't reach full boost

- Ancient Nvidia driver

 

- We have no idea what clocks the gpus are running.
