Will Nvidia GTX1080's work with GTX1080ti's?

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to PC building, and was thinking of getting a 1080ti, however I'm not sure if I can just fit it to a PCI slot on my motherboard along with my normal 1080 (without having to do anything), or do I need to bridge them or something?

You'd be replacing the 1080 with the 1080 ti. Honestly, if I were you, I don't think it's that worth it to spend an extra $700 for a 25% boost in FPS, though if you're gonna sell the 1080 I could see it being worth it for you.

You can't SLI (bridge) two different cards, that's to say, two different GPUs (chip itself). Must be based on same chip

No, it has to be the same core or class of GPU.

My current one's an EVGA 8GB. Is that plenty for sort of high-end gaming?

Yeah, should be plenty. If you wanted a legitimate upgrade, you'd be better off waiting for the next generation of GPUs that'll release probably next year.

Really depends on what you consider high-end gaming to be ^^ for anything from 1080p 60Hz to 1440p 144Hz at very high/ultra settings it should be plenty for quite some time, at least until the next generation. Don't upgrade, you will lose quite a bit of money in the process for nothing.
