Annoying brother

So my brother and I have to have our computers in the same room. He gets really loud and annoying and it's quite bad because my mic picks him up a lot when I'm with friends or streaming. We have maybe 3-4 feet of space between each other. Any way to make it quieter for me and others?

Other than just being further away from him, or making a soundproof booth around you (not worth it) there is not much you can do. Or you should set up times with each other on who can game when.

Yeah... you really need your own separate playtimes, or push-to-talk for both of you.

The duct tape might be most effective

Realistically, you need to work it out between you two, or if that doesn't work, with one or both of your parents as a mediator.

Sell him on craiglist?  You might get a couple sticks of ram for him.

Talk with your parents. It`s their fault to make another kid whom they can`t provide with another room to live in.
