Im a idiot so whats a IO lmfao.

usb ports, ethernet, 3.5mm audio, s/pdif, possibly onboard video out (you can ignore this if you dont plan on using the integrated GPU

Some boards can handle overclocking better but for the most part, you're paying for looks and the features the board has (rgb, onboard nic, sound, etc)

oh... So how about Wifi? If there are no wifi features on motherboard. Does that mean I cannot use ANY ANY wifi? Only cables to connect wifi. Or am i dumb and that statement is wrong.

The motherboard doesn't have wifi built in but you can buy a wifi USB adapter

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Okay. But if there is no wifi on motherboard. Can I use a cable to connect it IRL to get wifi?

Ethernet? Yes.

Wifi is wireless technology.  If you want internet then yes you can still connect with an ethernet cable, but that is not wifi.

Any other features that people pay more money for a motherboard. Like more ports? Or is it just Wifi and RGB?

Wifi, RGB, Bluetooth, smaller formfactor, better IO, more robust audio processing, better build quality, better looks, longer lasting

Not as much as they used to like back in the X58 days where a higher end board would net you significantly higher stable overclocks etc.

But generally don't skimp if you don't have to.

I have a intel xeon cpu and a 1070 i hope this makes you salty.

trust me, i hae two of them, i'm saying that from experience :P

There is no difference from using the Atheros PCI card i had which broke and the little USB key i use, but i have it attached to a USB extension cable so it acts sort of like an antenna lol.

Don't buy 'extreme'$200+ motherboards if you don't need it (eg, fuck ton of pcie slots)

look at whatevers in your budget and has your IO that you need

There is a lot of differences between motherboards.  The UEFI Bios, as well as the software that comes with the motherboard.  The overclocking features available and build quality of the board, cooling features, rgb features, different modes, switches, and doodads.  More Sata connections, more fan headers, more USB 2 and USB 3 ports, better LAN chipsets (sometimes multiple LANs), better on-board sound, support for faster RAM, WIFI capabilities, PCIE connectivity, aesthetics, price, the size of the motherboard (known as the form factor), etc.

Really though, just pick a motherboard that suits your needs.  Maybe read some reviews comparing the differences between one board vs another.
