Should I upgrade my Power Supply?

I have a 600W EVGA PSU in my computer, but I have a corsair 750W PSU in my closet just sitting around. I wanted to know if I should replace my current one with the one in my closet? They are both just bronze PSU's and I wasn't sure if I should swap my current 600W psu for my 750W psu. 

 

I was only thinking about this bc either way I have to rip my computer apart today to put in a h100i liquid cooler, so I was wondering if i should just swap the power supplies as well? In terms of future upgrades, I only see myself getting more ram or a better processor. Here are my current specs:

also there is the slight possibility that i might consider overclocking my cpu if i keep losing frames in Counter Strike.

Which EVGA PSU and which Corsair PSU?

You might get a little bit more efficient and the fan won't spin up so much.

What is the EVGA PSU? 600W is more than enough.

Not the most amazing model... Corsair makes amazing PSUs, but the CX line is not the best....

well looking at the corsair one, it says 75-001447 for the model. And I can't check for the EVGA one cause its like screwed into my pc and the model sticker is all covered up

so is it worth the swap? I'm going to be overclocking in the future...either that or upgrading my cpu/ram. 

 

Don't want me pc to be held back cause of low power

they're both semi-modular so the wires and stuff are a pain. but i will do whatever makes my pc run the best with the best reliability.

It won't be held back from low power. Both PSUs deliver enough power for your system.

Use the CX750. If it's one of EVGA's first G series, I wouldn't recommend it. My G series died from no overclocking and regular gaming and usage. My CX750M works perfectly. More wattage is not going to hurt.

how do i tell? i dont have the original box and all it says is CX750...

The CX750 is just a bit better quality than the EVGA (Tier 5 vs Tier 6) so you can swap if you want but it isn't required. Maybe just do it now so if you ever SLI you have a bit more headroom.

No, you should swap them most certainly. The CX750M is much better than the EVGA 600W 80 PLUS thing that isn't even supposed to be powering your 1070.

The CX750 is more like tier 3 really. It's a much better unit (in the green variety age) than the 600W and below and is still better today amongs the grey-logo CX series. OP should put the CX750 in his system.
