It's not a CXM it's a CX which is Tier 5. Research and get your facts right before trying to correct others lol

Oh you have a CX750? Then yeah as they are saying, the CXM series that I have is a much better version of the CX. But you'll do fine with the CX until you can buy a better one.

Do what @STRMfrmXMN says. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to PSUs. If you have both PSUs swap in the Corsair unit since he recommended this.

GPU: XFX GTS RX580 4GB

Cooling: Corsair h100i

Mobo: Asus z97-A

The CX750 is more like tier 3 really. It's a much better unit (in the green variety age) than the 600W and below and is still better today amongs the grey-logo CX series. OP should put the CX750 in his system.

Your tier isn't clear in that respect, you might want to make it clear that the 750/850(M) are tier 3.

I'd rewrite it as:

Tier 3: Gray Label CX and CX 750/850[M]

Tier 4: Green Label Bronze Certified CX[M] (Excluding the CX 750/850[M])

Tier 5: Certified CX (Excluding the CX 400)
