Mine is a laptop with SLI 1080s, a 4K screen, an unlocked CPU, 16-24 GB of RAM, a large SSD, has good or at least acceptable battery life(when not gaming), good cooling, and isn't too heavy. Sadly, that's not really feasible with our current technology.

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

Also, if anyone has their mind corrupted by an anthropomorphic black latex bat, please let me know. I would like to join you.

Why Titan XP? The 1080 Ti is confirmed to be faster than the XP.

I thought about putting the i9 7900x... I want the best balance possible between Single and Multi thread for all those glorious fps above my refresh rate for the lulz! :3

Real though right now with my rig as is I can play The Witcher 3 on ultra (only nVdia hairworks completely disable) on 1920x1080p maintaining averages of 110fps... the closest to doubling the TV 60hz on FastSync the smoother it is, when it is perfect double I dare say Fast Sync is as good as if not better than G-Sync.

Basically what I have right now, but with 64GB RAM and whatever the best single GPU is at the moment.

And can I mention peripherals too? I would love another 4K 27" + a Cintiq Pro 16 :^)

I would want pretty much what I have in my signature (two xeon x5690s in a mid tower) but on the evga sr-2 motherboard. That way I could have the two 6 core cpus over clocked to 4.7ghz or so. Ideally I would have a glass tube water-cooling setup but if it wasn't good enough I would cool with liquid nitrogen and OC to 5ghz (Which people have done with that setup)

⬇ - PC specs down below - ⬇

The Impossibox

CPU: (x2) Xeon X5690 12c/24t (6c/12t per cpu)

Motherboard: EVGA Super Record 2 (SR-2)

RAM: 48Gb (12x4gb) server DDR3 ECC

GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB

Case: Modded Lian-LI PC-08

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500Gb and a 2Tb HDD

PSU: 1000W something or other I forget

Display(s): 24" Acer G246HL

Cooling: (x2) Corsair H100i v2

Keyboard: Corsair Gaming K70 LUX RGB MX Browns

Mouse: Logitech G600

Headphones: Sennheiser HD558

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Something not much different than my original plan with Reptar, except 24GB of RAM, a nice capture card, a higher-end cooler and an R9 Fury X or Vega 64.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

No it isn't. At stock, the 1080 Ti roughly matches the Titan X Pascal, and is slightly behind the Titan Xp (due to CUDA Core count). At average overclock, they're all tied.

The Ti's only advantage over the X Pascal or Xp is the lower price. The only advantage the X Pascal has over the 1080Ti is 1GB of additional VRAM. The advantage the Xp has over both is more CUDA cores, which translates only to to better concurrent multitasking, seeing as it can't clock quite as high due to the additional heat output whilst having the same die size.

A very nice computer that I would love to have as a dream setup is a threadripper build with a 1080 ti, 4 terrabytes of ssd storage, 32 gb of ddr4 ram, 2x ultrawide 1440p gaming monitors, in a silent PC case with room for over clocking, and blazing fast internet.

Just generally a decent system, I don't do any hardcore gaming but still need it to be able to handle anything my CS studies throws at me. Maybe Xeon based just to have a ballin Hackintosh. Would however, love to have an iMac G4 20" modified to house a touchscreen as a display.

Probably a water cooled ITX build with glass tubing. Cause I always liked the look of that water cooled build with the glass tubing that Jay did, even if there was hundreds of dollars of fittings in it. Specs wise i'd probably go balls out X299 for the fun of it with all solid state NVME storage.
