Even most "tool-free" cases sometimes have to use a screwdriver... mostly down to over tightening of thumb screws at the factories though.

Well, my define R5 is supposed to be tool free, as far as the only thing that you ever remove from it is a side panel. Every disc, fan or cooler had to be screwed in with so called "tools" and it's a pain in the ass. There's no such thing as tool free case, my friend:)

I'm not okay about dealing with screws, but it's something that comes along when you build a computer. It's just how it is.

I am fine with tool-free for the case panels, everything else can stay the same.

Mine's pretty good, even though it's cheap (silencio 352). Toolless side panels, same with the HDD and the SSD requires rubber mounts to be screwed in, but then it just slots in and out. Obviously the fans and mobo need normal screws.

Other than the screws for the fans my cooler master haf xb evo is tool free.  If you want to put a 2.5 drive in the front hot swap by you need a screw driver and some screws I guess.  I am really happy with it though.  The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is a way to quick release the front panel.  I have my radiator behind the front panel and the fans are on the inside of the case in a pull configuration and it would be nice to be able to pop the front off for cleaning out dust without messing with the plastic tabs that I am afraid of breaking eventually.

anything OEM by HP or DELL is usually made to be disassembled completely w/ nothing but a single screwdriver ,

all parts that would need swapping are made to be swappable w/o tools

You're going to have to use a screwdriver, no matter what.  It's the only way to ground your motherboard.  I work on laptops regularly, which requires constantly using tools, so I'm pretty used to it.

I'd like tool free wherever possible, although I don't think I'd need it for screwing the motherboard into the standoffs.  I definitely want it on the side panels, expansion slots, and drive bays,

ESPECIALLY the 3.5" HDD bays!!  My Rosewill Thor V2 does have those little clip things that you squeeze to pull the tray with the drive out of the case, but, you still have to use screws to fasten the drive to the tray. :( I'd like to be able to have those 3.5" trays that don't require tools, so I can quickly swap in & out hard drives close to as quickly as you could if you had a front mounted hot swap bay.  Maintain tool-free compatibility with 2.5" drives / SSDs while you're at it, too, but also, still have the drives in very securely.
