With all the RBG and tempered glass going around nowadays, i haven't seen a computer under a desk in a while.  Everybody displays there opus atop their desk, so they can always see it.  Am I the only one who still has their computer UNDER their desk to save space?

I can help with programming and hardware.

mine's a black box under the desk, i have better things to look at than the insides of my system, and dont feel the need to compensate for size by turning my system into an appauling christmas tree.

mines under.

Tried to put it on the desk, but my desk is just too small and my computer too large. Plus, under my desk is quieter and I can rest my feet on it

That looks like an R5. Did you put a 5.25" front panel with USB ports behind that door or did you just decide not to use USB sticks at all?

It's R4. I have USB2 hub for misc peripherals and USB3 hub for sticks and memory card reader, Both 5.25" slots are in use, I still have need for optical and hot swap bay.

Have mine on my desk because I dont want it to be sitting directly on carpet. I have a nice big side window so its cool to see inside and whatnot, but I dont have any fancy RGB components inside since I built like like 2 yrs ago and RGB components werent really a thing yet.

I've always had mine under the desk because I think it's gaudy to have it sitting on top. Plus it takes up a lot of usable desk space. My next PC will be on top of the desk, however it'll also be half the size of a sheet of paper and about as tall as a pop bottle.

Under the desk. 3x1+1 monitors and a 5.1 system that takes the rest of the space.

Makes me wonder why I ever modded a window onto the case.

Mine lives under my desk because I don't have enough room on my desk to fit it up there, and it makes a nice footrest.

Once I get a new build going with a Node 202 instead of a Carbide 230T, then it'll be living on my desk under my center monitor. (Also need to get some VESA mounts for my monitors so there will be room for it...

Tip for people wanting to build PCs: Bigger is not always better. If you're thinking about adding to the build later on, but are not 100% sure that you're going to, don't go for much extra space. Yes, leave some room for upgrades, but don't go crazy with it, you'll likely end up with a fairly empty case and a ton of wasted space.

Depends on it it's been running for a while or not.

I usually wake it up before I leave in the mornings, so it's warm by the time I get home.

Umm, where did you exactly look for desk and PC layouts?

And can someone tell me what productive benefit you get from putting your case on top of your desk?

To answer your question: No.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

I have a windowless black Define R4 case under my desk positioned horizontally from myself, rear IO ports and cables facing the right. I sometimes use it as a footrest. It's under my desk not to save space, but because my computer desk is a bit rickety and I don't trust it to support the weight of the entire computer. My desk is one of those L-shaped desks (upside-down L from my perspective) but the angle of the corner of my room is less than 90 degrees (like a "7"), so there's a huge amount of unusable space behind the desk, space that my PC case could fall into with an unfortunate push if I placed it on the desk.
