I heard about this on L1Techs.  I like the theory that Apple must just know these things are popular and is hoping to get a few patents in so they can sue others who try to make them, even if they never make one themselves.

Technically, vaporizers are technology, and Apple appears to be looking into medical technologies. There is validity in Apple pursuing a vaporizer for a medical product, as Vicks sells vaporizers that help with things like colds and minor breathing problems.

Gonna have to shit on the guys who think it's vape, it looks like it'll be for something else, considering the carrier gasses involve argon and other dangerous things. A better idea is a cooler for what this is.
