If it will make you guys feel better. I just found out that this card is basically stolen. No warranty. Person who sold it to me was supposed to send it back becasue evga send them one with thermal pads installed. 

 

This card is a feels roller coaster... 

 

Guy from evga was nice and send me a thermal kit pack, so I got that going for me.

 

There is still a chance that my warranty will be back (it's on gold now), but I really doubt that they will send new card back o and pay for the old one. 

 

So yea... Wierd thing is that when I was buying it I was able to check serial number on guest rma web, but 3h later it was already blocked.

Read best answer guys. Be careful. Eva's warranty is cool, but ehh... I was not expecting that. 

 

 

I still don't believe it.

 

I just got a 1080 FTW of craigslist for... 381 USD (500 CAD). I'm shaking boyz...

 

It has 899 days of "guest" warranty left (I love EVGA for that btw).

Normally, I don't use all caps, but

 

MAKE SURE THE THERMAL MODS WERE DONE!

 

Blowing up a gem like that would hurt so much more than just losing a 1080
