The support service (emails) is rather good. Got reply within 48h and it was informative. I believe it was their EU/UK support team responding.

I am asking because today I contacted Gigabytes hotline and the support was pretty meh... they tried to push the fault to somebody else (this time psu manufacturer/faulty psu) allthough everything hints on a faulty/buggy motherboard. And tbh, the guy on the hotline was not the most polite guy in the world and almost laughed at me.

Without symptoms its hard to say if it really is PSU or not. You should be in contact with store with RMA things. Usually much better than working directly with manufacturer. I asked about fan connectors and got helpful response.

yeah, maybe i'll contact the store, thought it might be the easier way to contact them directly.

Problem basically is, that my pc randomly does not boot, it goes past bios or sometimes goes just before showing the login screen, but then refuses to give any signal to the monitor. and more recently, it even bugged at the bios startup screen, it simply froze at that stage. The supports answer was faulty psu, he said, it might sth in the psu that does not get triggered at startup, but be quiet! support basically says, when it comes that far, it is not the fault of the psu anymore (allthough they offered me to send them the psu, check it for free and eventually get a replacement unit, which I might to just to be safe)

Sounds like my old Abit mobo. Definetly more than just PSU issue. Though it might be power related, its probably at mobos side.

funny thing is, that this is very random, can happen twice a week or once a month. just started a troubleshooting thread, if you are interested in the whole story.

So you would try to "force" GB to take a look at the mobo?

For Western European people it's pretty good. Their RMA center is in Hamburg, Germany (previously it was in Venlo, The Netherlands) and their HQ is in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Their RMA center is switching places now-ish and supposedly for Dutch customers that increased the RMA shipping times by about a day-ish (for anyone in Germany it should decrease the time and the rest of Europe will be pretty much the same).

I don't have any personal experiences with their RMA, so this is purely store experience stuff.

I'd say go for store directly and attach your discussion with be Quiet! support if you have it.
