Do you mean you have a computer in your garage?

I have a server cabinet in the garage.

What makes that giant card appealing to you?

Having an HDMI port that I could feed through might be good, but I decided against it since I would have to buy a case or 2.5" add-on for it.

Ah.  Isn't that complicated to run cables (assuming you're using a wired connecton) between your garage and your house?

HDMI cable? No, my Vive is in my study (office?) room. I'd get another Vive for the garage so that I can play in a larger space vs the current 3'x5' area.

If you mean the Ethernet, no. Routing cables is easy once you fail the first two runs and you figure out how much you're going to need to each run and how you'll place them down.

Sorry.  Yes I meant Ethernet.  I was worried that it would be tricky to find a long enough cable or maybe that animals/outside environmental conditions like temperature might risk damaging the cable.

I routed the cables through the attic.

I have no idea. Here in Florida, most every house has a garage attached, but Jersey houses had either a basement or garage as the lowest floor.

Well yeah I think most homes have a basement.  But a garage built into the house as the lowest floor is certainly a space saving idea.  Compared to near the house I mean.

I wish we could have basements here in Florida (the soil/sand doesn't allow for the weight to be well-supported) since the cooler temps would be great.

That's too bad...    I love it down here in the summer (year round tbh) since my parents are allergic to keeping the AC on high enough for it to be comfortable upstairs in the summer.

#basementlife. ?

you do know that the cable is long enough to plug into the back and that there is a hole in the cablemamagement side all the way in the back for the hdmi cable to go through
