Posted January 17, 2017 I always thought they were CA PA CI TIVE thumbscrews which makes infinitely more sense. Kyle from AwesomeSauce/Bitwit always says CAP TIVE but I thought he just had a bad habit. I just heard Dmitri from HWC say it too and now I feel we must solve this once and for all. Posted January 17, 2017 I think it's captive as captive is something (usually a person) held somewhere (as captive thumbscrews are held in to the side panel) where capacitive is "the property of being able to collect and hold a charge of electricity."
