Intel Pentium 4. The ridiculously hot processors.

@Ashiella I don't know. Make sure they're LGA 775 chips. But don't go against your school rules. Get a Core 2 Duo for just a little more to test that board.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

How are pentium 4's going to trigger teachers???

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Well, that counts as a electronic much the same way a computer part would. Just don't do it. You don't want your teachers thinking you're the annoying rule-breaker of the lunch room. It's not fun.

I've not heard of an LGA 775 board that won't run a Core 2 CPU. Just get the P4 to test the board, as long as it's LGA 775.

I am already, it's funny as hell, there is this one teacher that's hired only for keeping students straight, and when I had all the phones he just stared at the table and was like: nahh fam I ain't gonna bother.

Still, that doesn't make it aligned with the rules. You should follow the rules how they are, and just get the CPUs for testing. But, why FIVE of them?

There are actually many 775 boards that can't run core 2 CPUs. I've found that out the hard way in the past.

i7 2600k @ 5GHz 1.49v - EVGA GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 - 16GB DDR3 2000MHz Corsair Vengence

Asus p8z77-v lk - 480GB Samsung 870 EVO w/ W10 LTSC - 2x1TB HDD storage - 240GB SATA SSD w/ W7 - EVGA 650w 80+G G2

3x 1080p 60hz Viewsonic LCDs, 1 glorious Dell CRT running at anywhere from 60hz to 120hz

Model M w/ Soarer's adapter - Logitch g502 - Audio-Techinca M20X - Cambridge SoundWorks speakers w/ woofer

Yeah I don't get the point either.. Most people won't even know what it is and therefore, would not be triggered. I guess you could make a necklace out of them.. I mean, what else are they good for? EDIT: All 5 for 5$? Why not.

We have a free technology policy meaning we can use whatever we want at lunch. In class, normally in Comm Tech we can do what we want but I normally go hunting on the forum. Surprised I sustained 80% in that class.

I mean we did shit but I hardly did anything right, I hate video editing xD
