when packing my things for college i dropped my PS4 on the concrete in my driveway and i wanted to lay down and die. no damage tho, it still works fine

i dropped my 290x when i got it. it worked fine till the day i volt-modded it and it went up in smoke lol

its in a crappy mood, won't really oc anymore was stable at 4.6 at 1.384-.392v with the rest on auto, kinda want to get 4.5 but unsure of what settings to change

The highest I got was 5.1Ghz at 1.41v and it was FUCKIN' TOASTY

i have a pc that i built and i use. i bought the ps4 before i considered buying a pc because i wanted to play with friends.(i also have an xbox one).

 

My opinion, pc's are better imho. but they are not as easily accesible. children are introduced to consoles mpre often as gaming devices. i loved my consoles but now that im pc ill never go back. its up to the consumer and having a market thats competitive is good for the evolution of technology. also some games are worth owning console for(ill be buying god of war 4 and last of us 2)

I want it stable back at 4.5-4.7 which it achieve at between 1.384-1.392v with bclk 130 and 35, going to run some test(realbench) with LLC at high

I dropped a motherboard and drug it across carpet in order to make it work again. Literally the world's shittiest 775 motherboard right here.

 

EDIT: I also dropped my K6-II and it was devastating. Even though it was just a spare, I loved the damn thing to bits. Every single pin got fucked because it fell down carpet stairs onto a cement floor. :'(

That's lucky.  It's not exactly built like a tank.  I would've expected worse damage.

 

Not to say that I'd hope for that.  Just that a PS4 seems rather fragile.
