How to fix failed monitor overclock?

RGProductions
Go to solution Solved by RGProductions,

Alright I fixed it. I used the old CRT and reset all settings in CRU. I should've paid attention and when the OC failed, just pressed f8. Thanks guys.

So it seems that all this monitor BS will never end, and I was going to type in 75 hz for my monitor, which supports it fully, and accidentally typed 85. a know how i can get windows to boot in like 60hz or something so I can fix this? No image shows on the monitor.

Never tried anything like it sorry :(

Tried to OC a VGA monitor on EVGA PrecisionX, it didn't like it but I was able to revert by just waiting IIRC

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Use a different monitor and delete the profile?

that might just work, but I don't have another one, i broke them all.

EDIT: Nope, I do have an old CRT which would actually, ironically enough, be stable at 90hz

alternatively, can you get into the bios at all? Or windows safe mode?

yes, which would be much easier than carting a really heavy CRT up here.

I think you'll need a recovery flash drive or disc if you can't boot into windows.
