Calling 5820K users

People who have a 5820K tell me what temps you get while running a stresstest. Make sure to say what cooler you have, what RPM you are running your fans at and what voltage you are using. I'm curios because I think I'm getting too high temps with my H100i v2. Temps hover around 80C and that's at 1.250V with fans running at 2100 RPM which is rather loud. One guy told me he was getting max temps of 60C @1.35V with the same cooler and CPU as me. I will be replacing my thermal paste tomorrow or so.

Also make sure that you didn't fit the pump block to tight: that could also give negative effects on temps.

Honestly, when I put it on, it didn't seem like it was touching the CPU completely, but it's almost as tight as it gets.

What test are you running?  My answer may be more useful if I run the same test.

AIDA 64, but it's the same on all other tests besides Prime 95 which get way to hot.

That is blatantly not mounted properly.

I got mid to high 50s on my x61 with slowish speed fans (max 1200 rpm) when I was overclocking my 5820k.

Similar for my custom loop.

How are you powering the water pump?  If its on the mainboard try turning up the "fan speed" in the bios settings.  I've seen overheating from insufficient water circulation.

I'll remount it tomorrow when I get thermal paste.

Uhm I'm not actually sure, but water temps are around 30C. Not sure if that matters.

If the water temp sensor is in the pump assembly which I have to assume it is that means the pump itself is working properly, which means again a bad mount.

I've been running it like this for like 6 months :( At least I kept temps under 85C.

My 5820K is cooled by 2 x 240 rad custom loop. 1.295v @ 4.5GHz, 67-69C at ~21-22C ambient temperature when doing AIDA64. Cooling fans are Gentle Typhoon at max 1200rpm.
