Tri-band router and VPN

Hi, I'm looking at getting a new router.   Is there a tri-band router that you are able to setup a VPN connection on just one of the two 5ghz bands or is this even possible?   I would rather do it on the router than run a client on my computer.   Thank you for any advice.

bands of the router don't affect the vpn at all

 

You can't split the bands, there used for mimo and you have no control, but you can have multiple ssids/

 

Id probalby just use something like a unify ap ac like(or pro) and vlan it up.
