I've returned yet again, but with a favor to ask. I need help coming up with a computer.

I'm getting roughly 9,000 USD this year. So excited to pay off my debts and build a new computer.

My current one, the PSU gave up and fried the CPU along with it's dying will.

So, I'm wanting to build something absolutely amazing. I'm thinking white & black theme. I want tempered glass. I want great even lighting.
I want to play Star Citizen in 4K at 120FPS, though having trouble finding any monitor that can push that. So I at LEAST want 2K at 144FPS, but with the future capability upgrade to 4K at 120FPS.

I play pretty much anything though, I bounce around on games, and I may start live streaming? At the very least recording, editing, and uploading to YouTube.

Performance and aesthetics is a major need in this build.

I need all parts except the CPU Cooler. I also need all new peripherals. I prefer mechanical keyboards with brown switches.

Whatcha got? I got a few things in PC Part Picker and NewEgg cart and Amazon Cart, but. I'm having a hard time choosing what I want.

Budget is around 2,000 to 3,000 USD.

I'll see what I can do on pcpartpicker. As for the 4k 120hz monitor, ASUS just announced a 144hz 4k monitor.

Wait for 1080ti, or maybe the new VEGA things.

EDIT: Then get 2+ of the best cards in that gen.

Want to know which mobo to get?

I read the title and thought to myself - Is the OP for real? He/she wants a build to do his taxes? Seriously? - then I read the OP's post and it all made sense ... bit slow tonight ...

nope SLI is in a pretty shitty state right now as far as i know, it works as long as you stick with 2 way and supported titles but its not that great, id wait for more powerfull cards and just get a beastly setup now CPU wise with a single 1080 or 1070 and then upgrade later to either VEGA or dual 1080TIs if 4k 120Hz is your goal

The 6900K is for PCIe lanes. No point doing a huge dual x16 on a CPU gimped with 28 lanes.

Maybe save money and go for a 1060 3GB, for a future upgrade of dual 1080ti's?

thats not a bad plan to me, pick whatever has more power between VEGA and the 1080TI, we dont know when they will launch but im going to guess VEGA is about to be anounced and the 1080TI following that

But does it have to be this overkill? he didn't even mention what he is going to do with this PC other than game, even with such a nice budget I think he should play realistic? I would in my personal view go with the 7700k+z270+16gb ram+Titan XP with great air cooling solution, a pretty black case and a PSU of quality to hold it all up.

I did put what my plans where to do with the PC.

Also I'm aiming for a fantastic computer, not necessarily balls to the wall. The builds provided so far are good thoughts but I'm kind of picking here and there through them, also collecting ideas.

Tired of thinking of this on my own on what I want to go, too many choices. Haha.
