Engineering project to design a CPU cooler

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums here, but I wanted to gather as much information as I can. I am in the Engineering academy at my school and for the semester-long project, I chose to design a CPU cooler. It'll require a lot of research but I am committed to this project. I am in the information gathering stage, so I am trying to get as much people to reply to the survey. If you have any suggestions to the survey, please, I would love to hear them! Thank you!

it should have zero fans.

for copper vs aluminium have a look at test results for the original scythe ninja; it came in both ali and cu; the cu cost 2X more at retail and only delivered 1-2C difference.

Replied to the survey, and like I mentioned in the survey you should target a delta over ambient instead of a specific temperature with a specific CPU ;)

Doing that means the testing become CPU independent, that's easier to test and design :)

How many fans should it have:

You forgot the most important one: 0 ;)

But my needs for cooling are diffent from most people so don't listen too much on me.

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

I should clarify, by peltier I meant a fan powered solely by the heat of the CPU.
