my pc shuts down randomly

so my pc usually started to shutdown in games. I tried to do a lot of things : i reinstalled drivers, i tried different power sources , i tried disconnecting the hdd , i ran the pc without the gpu i verified all the temperatures and everything seems ok. I really don't know what to do. The psu or cpu/gpu are ok because the pc doesnt shut down in stress tests only in games ( bf 1 for exaple after around 15 minutes ).

If you have any ideeas let me know i'll leave the forum page open.

THANK YOU!

Moved to troubleshooting.

Could you post your complete specification?

Might still be the PSU or thermal protection, did you check the temperature of the CPU and GPU?

does it only happen in BF1 or it happens in other games too?

If it's only BF1, try repairing the install (from the Origin menu).

it happens in all games ,tho bf1 is the one that shuts down the fastest.

Have you checked game display modes, does playing in fullscreen vs windowed affect it anyway.

Also you need something like msi afterburner running and occasionally check the graphs and see if anything is slowly rising such as temps or memory.

Finally start on some low end games like pacman and minesweeper and work your way up

ok, try to stress the GPU with another software than aida64, something like Unigine Heaven and let it run in loop to see when or if it'll shutdown.

If the temps are ok and it shuts down on demanding games, my guess would be the PSU, though not sure why it's fine in aida64.

Do you have a spare PSU to test that out?

i would say leave it for a day or two. If you really want to go ahead and google the clean way of reinstalling graphics drivers

normally its something like safemode, use DDU to remove gpu driver, start safe mode, reinstall driver, restart safe mode, restart into normal mode

Try 373.06! On latest drivers, my pc restart when folding on my 1070. Maybe you have the same problem on the 970.
