Overclocked i7 7700k beats i7 6800k at stock speeds in cinebench?!?!?!?!?

I'm not sure if I should get this or the 6800k.....I do 3D rendering and modelling as well as gaming.....

Something is wrong with that 6800k, should be getting a higher score I reckon, closer to 1150, OC can get upwards of 1300-1400, a measly 7700k won't scale that far.

Keep in mind that having good equipment isn't what's going to make it high quality, it will just enable you to get work done faster.

The quality comes from the amount of time and effort put in.

It's up to you. My wife is an interior and graphic designer working with Maya, Autodesk, and Adobe Suite, so I built her a 6800K system.
