GTX 1060 6gb VS RX470 8gb

I was wondering weather I should get at 6gb 1060 or an 8GB Rx470 they are around the same price and I was wondering which would be a better card for 1080p max on new games and also heavily modded Skyrim with alot of 2k/4k texture mods

RX 480 is better than 1060 but 470 is worse. Get the 480 if you can save, otherwise 1060.

get a 4x 480 8 gb you mean? yes the 480 will be better for Skyrim mod, 8 gb is the sweet spot for modding in skyrim.

As much as it pains me to say this, if you really care about Skyrim in particular then get the 1060 cause Skyrim just works better with Nvidia. If that's only one of the games you play then I'd get the RX 480 if that's an option.
