Choosing a CPU/Motherboard

hi guys,

 

i have bought almost everything except for the cpu and mobo...

 

what im currently looking at:

ryzen?

i5 6600k or i7 6700k?

or wait for kabylake?

 

will kabylake make skylake cpus cheaper?

 

and i havent found any motherboards yet, too many to choose from, you may suggest me a few

Yeah keep waiting if you can. Maybe skylake will be cheaper but why not wait and see for real? Why buy now and regret later?

What price range on the motherboard? Also any prefered color scheme or anything special about it you want? or just something to get the job donw?

i would say price to functions ratio

like many people would choose price per performance on gpu

Well I would wait until the new CPU's come out and then you could probably get a 6700k/6600k for a little cheaper(a lot cheaper if looking for used on ebay)

Also what are you wanting for this build? and are you using SSD's, if so what kinds? Cause there are plenty of ones with a bunch of bells and whistles but you may not need them

mostly playing games, no ssds
