So I decided to visit Dollar Shave Club with the link in the description but things aren't how Linus' described it to be.... Linus was talking how you can get first month for free and all that good stuff but its actually $1.... I don't know what happened there but this problem is actually on some other videos too.

Has the $1 charge actually come through or is it still pending?

Usually places have to charge a $1 authorization to make sure the credit card you put into their system is valid but the charge won't actually come through and should drop off in whatever amount of time your bank's policies state.

No on the website it is clearly saying $1 for first month.

Its New Years' and weekend. Wait until it's Mondays and office hours in US/CA. Also tweeting to Linus is more direct way to approach with things like this.

There was an official reply on the other thread. That's the problem with making new threads about something that already exists.

 

Basically it came down to a communication error between them and their Dollar Shave Club contact and they're working on a way to make people aware of the change.
