WiFi connection Vs. Ethernet connection for upload speeds

brytrickgaming

Why is it that I get a better upload speed on my phone (obviously on a wireless connection to my router) than I do on my computer (which is connected to the router via Ethernet)?

You may be using an older ethernet cable that isn't capable of supporting your full speeds. (there are different types of RJ45 cables eg cat6)

With such a small difference, it's more likely down to there being less congestion/server load etc than anything else.

Try getting a new ethernet cable.  Your current one probably isn't able to fully utilize your transfer speeds.
